Levin is up for re-election this year. I called his office and expressed that I will take his vote for the bailout into consideration when visiting the polls this November. I encourage everyone else to contact his office and express the same.

He seems to have a good sense of the weakening dollar (read toward the bottom). He also seems to say he wouldn't vote for Bush's proposed bailout plan. But who knows about what's going through the senate tonight (Oct. 1)? Could it have enough perks to sway him?
